Concordia Rhone-Alpes proposes different kind of voluntary involvement, with the organisation of international volunteer workcamps as its main activity - in order to promote intercultural exchanges and active citizenship. Both volunteers - turkish guy and ukrainian girl - will get invested from september 2016, for a twelve-month EVS in Lyon. Their missions will consist in communicating about these different activities, and to assist in the implementation of the workcamps season. For this, they will meet youngsters to present the activities of the association and talk about their own experience; support the logistics in the preparation of workcamp, and they will be camp leaders of one of the workcamps during the summer.The volunteers will also have the possibility to create their own personal projects.We'll apply methods from popular and non-formal education and we'll encourage the active participation of the volunteers, to allow them to develop new skills, and tools for their personal development.For all the stakeholders, we hope that this project will be a great intercultural experience, and an opportunity to tackle the European Identity, making it more real. We hope that this project will allow all of us to develop a mutual understanding between cultures and we hope that it will participate to enhance transnational links and mobility of persons.
