PROJECT
FINISHED
We want to carry out this project, because, while doing some activities and events together with youth, we have observed several issues, they have problems to define their feelings and thoughts or even communicate with other people in real and social networks. Youth have problems to communicate with older people, other nationality people and speaking in different languages, which is not their native language and they are not confident enough about their language knowledge. Objectives: Provide young people with theoretical and practical knowledge about public speech, presenting art and make them more confident and open to communicate with partner organization participants, therefore this project would help to improve their self-esteem and value in society. This project would help improve and use their official presenting skills in everyday life and in formal education. In the end of the project there will be a material for other youth. In the end of project participants will receive Youthpass certificate. Project will be realized together with three countries, from each partner country 9 participants and 13 participants from organizing country.Profile of participant: • Young people of age 16-24;• Good spoken English;• Willing to learn new presenting methods and want to create new guidelines in presenting themselves, in the end of the project there will be a material for other youth;• No experience in project in this kind of topic;• Motivation for participating in these project. Firstly, there should be introduction meeting in each country for all the participants. So they could get to know each other and survey them about their expectation and need’s in this project and small introduction about hosting country. In the middle of June we are planning visit meeting in Ventspils to all partners and their selected youth leader. In the middle of July youth exchange for 9 days (including travel days) is taking place in Ventspils and Ventspils district, Latvia. In youth exchange there will happen many activities - presentations, lectures, group work, debate, ice-breaker games, team building games, simulation game and others. In August all participants or group of participants will share their photos, articles, videos, good practices and the way they use their new skills with organizers and they will make an informative brochure (in 4 languages-Latvian, English, Bulgarian, Czech) about good practice and new-learned skills during the project.
