The aim of the COME SI FA project is to develop innovative methodologies for training architects and engineers in the construction sector. In practice the project will contribute to research development in the sector of multimedia teaching applications and provide a service for the development of active learning in this field.The project's chief result will be a multimedia database containing information on construction materials and new and traditional technologies, with instructions for their use. The project will be tested in universities and technical colleges before being disseminated to a wider public.The project results will be disseminated via inter alia the Internet sites of the various partners, the publication of articles in the specialised press and use of the distance-learning platforms of various architects' associations at European level.
