In Europe one of five main aims for EU 2020 is to strengthen social inclusion, equality and active citizenship.The aim with this project is to foster the inclusion and employment of young people with fewer opportunities. A common challenge for the partners is to reach those young people who are beyond our organisations space. Young people who might be out of work, education and social context.The project has five project partners from the UK, France, Germany, Finland and Sweden. The partnership will together bring experiences, activities and exchange skills and knowledge to increase and strengthening training paths of educators and youth workers.This project is connected to a KA2 Strategic Partnership project "Developing working tools and methods how to reach young people aged 13-22 in disadvantaged socio-economic areas" Ref. Project: 2015-2-SE02-KA205-001214,In the project "Come 2 Join US! "we will let the young youth workers and professional youth workers from the five partners come together and explore the methods and working tools from the KA2 project. The project will focus on Non-formal learning methods and will meet the specific objectives to promote participation for young people, active citizenship and social inclusion and solidarity in a democratic life. Participants:There will be twenty young youth workers aged 18-22 and twenty professional youth workers aged 30-65 collaborating in each activity. They are all living or working in disadvantaged socioeconomic areas. The young youth workers will be “bridge builder” between the youngster 13-22 and the professional youth workers, NGOs, and the organisations.Activities:The project will content of four transnational mobility, one in four of the five countries where we can try out new ways to approach vulnerable groups, especially young people aged 13-22 living in disadvantaged social-economic areas. Each activity will last for five days excluding travel days and each will content of value exercises, role-play, and group discussions, study visits to disadvantaged socioeconomic areas, interviews and exchange of methods, GLO (Generic Learning Outcomes), Open Badges and examples from best practical working tools. The process during these workshops is important added value for the whole work. The transnational activities will follow after local workshops held in respective organisation.Each one will have a special topic to explore:1. Attitudes & Values, in Stockholm 20-24 June 20162. Learning to learn, in Bordeaux 31 Oct – 4 Nov 20163. Confidence & Self-Esteem, in Cardiff 27 Feb – 3 March 20174. The Expected impacts of the project on:The young youth workers aged 18-22 and the professional youth workers from the organisations have increased their collaborations together and implemented new ways of working. The participants have gained skills for implemented new ways of working.Long-term benefits: Young people aged 13-22 with fewer opportunities are taking a more active role in the local society, participating in local activities and are active in NGOs, education and health supporting activates.
