This ten days youth exchange was created with aim to introduce young people coming from different European countries with beautiful and important event that takes place every August in small multi¬ethnic town of Macedonia called Struga. Among intercultural learning activities and art workshops participants of the exchange will involve in this event and interact with local and international people gaining valuable and unforgettable experience of international cooperation. It will be a great chance for the 40 young people from EU and SEE countries, Macedonia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belgium, Romania, Portugal and Bulgaria, to gain an intercultural experience, dialog and some knowledge of arts and poetry. The Struga Poetry Evenings started in 1962 with a series of readings by a number of Macedonian poets in honor of the two brothers, Konstantin and Dimitar Miladinov, great intellectuals, teachers, and writers, born in Struga in the early 19th century. The participants from various countries will have the task to represent in wall paintings their own point of view about the Struga Poetry Evenings. During the exchange young people will work on a photoexhibition, which will represent the highlights of the arts and the process of creating them. Creativeactivities will be combined with intercultural learning workshops that are based on the principles ofnon-formal learning and active involvement of the participants.
