Coach to Coach: confronto e scambio di pratiche nell'accompagnamento di percorsi di apprendimento internazionali

Within the Coach to Coach project, 40 participants belonging to the following professional qualifications, will be actively involved: a) information officer, coaching and tutoring of educational paths, guidance and support for job placement; b) technician in elaborating training needs analysis, the design of training and preparation of accompanying measures ; c) Technician in elaborating individual needs analysis, providing advice and guidance for the development of the training / work experiences and the validation of experience (EQF level. All participants will have a University degree (6 EQF), necessary to perform the role of designer of educational paths, tutor, trainer, career guidance expert, expert on skills assessment and certification, expert on learning processes in the non-formal sector locally and internationally. Participants will be identified by Accademia europea di Firenze in collaboration with local partners. Participants will benefit from a comparison of experiences and exchange of practices in the field of planning, management and coaching of non formal learning paths with a local or an international scope.
The shared need of the partner organisations is to share and discuss concretely on methodologies design, to monitor and tutor, accompany the local and international activities, learning to recognize and implement "transparency" tools using ECVET, exchange practices and tools to improve the quality and the efficacy of the local services, to influence in a bottom up approach, the training, labor and career guidance policies at local, regional and European level.
The specific needs for the foreseen target group are: to update professional competences in relation to practices and procedures to be used in own field of action; to be part of a lifelong learning process, testing and improving key competences such as learning to learn and also life skills as working in multicultural contexts and in international teams; experiment and improve own communicative and linguistic competences; feel part of a community and of a network.
The main project objectives are: create opportunities for exchange practices and experiences in order to circulate know how, practices and methodologies. This experience should serve to improve daily work and to develop new ideas and future cooperation, to reinforce the local and international network, capitalizing and developing experiences and consolidated relationships, throughout the “valorization” platform (see. Dissemination paragraph); to start up a synergic mechanism with all the partners to create international and innovative training paths in coherence with the EU laws; to influence the training, labor and career guidance local, regional and EU policies.
The main learning outcomes expected for the participants are: to know the International partner activities, to participate to some activities, acting within the International organisation itself; to know the local network with whom the international partner co-operates; research and share practices in line with own professional profile and qualification and also in line with the individual learning agreement; experiment own linguistic and cultural competences; to improve own life skills.
The expected results for all partners are: to improve practices and tools in the project areas; to improve the quality of all local services for individuals; to recognize, certify and validate experiences and learning processes and outcomes; to have an impact on policies and their modernization.
The expected learning outcomes for participants are: improvement or consolidation of life skills, key competence learning to learn, professional competences related to the profiles and qualifications. It is also expected that – in a medium time – they could bring changes and improvement in their own professional contexts.
In a long perspective, it is foreseen that they could stimulate a quality culture of mobility, networking to improve the quality of all services, improvement and simplification of all procedures for competences certification, recognition and validation at European level.
Working methodologies will be grounded on active participation of all project actors, on the principle of co-responsibility already defined in the project design phase. Mobilities will be managed using active and participative methodologies: participants will be responsible for own learning and they will undertake an active learning paths, reflecting on their professional role and qualification.
As for the tools, the project foresees to active online procedures and tools in order to facilitate the communication and the participation of all actors.
Coach to coach project foresees mobilities which will last 1 week, in the following partner countries: ES, PT,UK, CY, FR, MT, SI, DE, CZ. The project will be run during 2 years time from 1st November 2014 until the 1st of November 2016.
