Project "Closer to nature, closer to each other" is a project of Polish-Romanian-Italian youth exchange, which aims to deepen young people ecological knowledge and motivate to participate in protection of the environment. Target is to increase proper recycling awareness, reuse of recycled materials, and balanced usage of recourses through participation in a project. Informal ecological education gives opportunity to inform about environmental needs and points attention on beauty of wild nature. The knowledge and experience acquired during the workshop can be used by young people for commitment small steps to change the world for better. Adolescence is a key to professional development of young people, according to the report "Youth of Lower Silesia" of December 2013 prepared by the Lower Silesian Council for Youth. In this age ability to explore passions and interests, own potential and strength, learning skills and teamwork skills are formed. It has strong connection with educational labor market, especially non-formal education, which provides skills highly requested by employers: self-reliance, creativity, collaboration skills. There is a strong necessity to support the activity of young people, to assist in the local and school activities implementation, as well as involve their peers into action. The project aims to draw attention to environment protection and healthy lifestyle propaganda. The youth will promote alternative healthy ways of leisure. The project also targets solidarity development and tolerance promotion among young people, as well as mutual understanding between young people of Poland, Italy and Romania. The idea of the project originated by group of young people from the Center for Education and Education Voluntary Labor Corps OHP in a Prince castle Olesnica whose interest are sports, photography, culture. The main goal of their actions is, first of all, to maintain beauty of cultural heritage and wild nature of the neighborhood. People from Italy and Romania who initiate environmental protection and promote healthy lifestyle are invited also. Participants of the project are decisive and energetic people, who are open for idea and experience sharing and want to cooperate in international team. The project will be attended by 21people in total from the three countries, 7 people from each country, including participants and leaders. Romanian-Italian-Polish youth meeting will take place on the territory of picturesque Olesnica district. The project scheduled workshops developing environmental awareness and creativity in order to improve different skills of young people in the very beginning of their careers. During the workshop a list of products and materials that can be re-used in creative way will be created, also it is scheduled workshop for making board games, children's toys, books, photo frames and decorative soaps using these materials. Healthy lifestyle, outdoor activities, alternative leisure types will be promoted through mutual workshops and experience exchanges. The target of the project is to learn different ethnic customs and traditions and to build intercultural dialogue. In order to improve learning process and to build closer connection between participants language animations and games, eco-national cultural evenings, collective excursions and tours are scheduled. Outside classes will combined with games and photography contest. Movement and outdoor activity directed on environmental protection will let to integrate in local community. Experience received while fulfilling contest tasks, creation of waste recycling points will be used for creation exhibition and multimedia presentation for representatives of local community as well as local media and local authority. The project will develop the ability to work in an international environment, which will affect on future cooperation between European youth. Blog promoting healthy lifestyle and environmental protection will be created as a result of the project. Also this project will be increasing of interest to reasonable waste recycling and promotion of reasonable environmental management in European countries.
