The development plan 2014.-2019. of Marupe Secondary school intends to create and start a new curriculum for language learning from primary level to secondary level. It includes partly bilingual (English - Latvian) tuition. Therefore school requires for international experience of innovations in language teaching and CLIL methodology, especially in native speaking country. The Erasmus+ project will give to participant an opportunity to improve language skills in the natural environment, to elevate professional competences, to innovate methodology. There will be an opportunity for pupils to acquire new learning skills. The European mobilities allow to cooperate and get contacts with teachers from different countries to compare and explore experience and positive aspects of other education systems, and implement gained knowledge improving curriculum and future progress of our school. New experience and competences are going to be disseminated among teachers in the participant's organization and municipality in order to improve the quality and methods of English teaching-learning on new international level. Marupe Secondary school appoints the participant who will promote new sustainable language learning advanced program, who would be able to share her experience and new skills in local and regional level, as well as national level if it's demanded. Chosen European mobility will result in better and innovative curriculum, improved pupil's language and communication skills, increased learning-teaching motivation of the teacher, which will enhance wellbeing and motivation of pupils. The main project activities are the following: presentations of the participants, theoretical lectures, practical workshops on lesson planing as well as teaching assignments in local UK schools. There will be created CLIL based curriculum, methodological materials for primary school which will be adapted in the school. The participant is able to organize seminars for other teachers to spread gained knowledge and summer camps for pupils to develop their language skills and to facilitate language learning motivation. The experience and positive practice of this course will be published. The pupil's language skills and learning motivation will improve as a result of innovative foreign language teaching. To measure effectiveness of new curriculum created by the participant of the project the questionnaires will be given to pupils and their parents. The pupils will be encouraged to take part in local and international projects and will be able to use gained knowledge working on different topics. Progressive dynamics and better results in language learning are expected.
