Client Orientated Competencies for Technical Advanced International Labour
As Norway has a long history of recognising “Real Competence” and validating non-formal and informal learning, the project aims to transfer the expertise developed by Borgund VidareGåande Skole to the consortium in order to develop a European-wide validation of informal and non-formal learning.Transfering the expertise developed by Borgund VidareGåande Skole, the project intends to- Review the NQF standards used for Construction and Healthcare which most reflect industry needs regarding non-formal and informal competences - Develop the expertise of BVGS in assessing competences of workers without formal qualifications in order to determine and benchmark common criteria on which the assessment will be based- Promote the use of new ICT technologies when assessing these competences - Pilot the assessment, potentially in four of the partner centres- Award to this assessment an internationally recognised certification through ISO 17024This will be done by 1. Raising institutional awareness for the acceptance of competences aquired through non-formal and informal learning(ILE Berlin, IB)2. Developing a procedure for the assessment and validation of these competences, defining common criteria for recognition and benchmarking them in line with EQF (Borgund VGS, SOL, Les Compagnons, ILE Berlin, IB, TTI)3. Presenting evidence of personal competences using ICT (ILE Berlin)4. Ensuring the validity and reliability of this assessment by the use of a third party personal certification system based on the international standard ISO17024. (TTI)
