The"City Talk" project will be held in Canakkale between 20 - 27 October 2011. This project is one of the youth Exchanges of City Contact Cycle Project which is a group of exchanges in different countries like Germany, Estonia, Italy, France and Turkey. The main idea of the "City Talks" is helping youngsters to feel the cities, cultures and express their experiences comparing with the places they belong to.In this project, youngsters will use different medias and techniques as tool (photos, texts, sounds etc.) "The symbol which is called as "Fountain of Smile" will be search throughout the streets of Canakkale and youngsters go on field trips to selected public places in Çanakkale acting as a kind of "culture-journalist”:taking pictures and notes, drawing and sketching out what they consider particularly mentionable with their positive smiling manner.Participants will exchange their experiences in separated group dialogues and presentations, including their impressions and talk about comparisons to their places of residence, their history and culture. In workshops, the young people learn or deepen their knowledge.
