"Circus of europe" A project with the aim to connect young people using the universal language, circus, and to increase youngs knowledge about the Erasmus+ program. For 7 days from the 3rd to the 9th of august, 12 Swedish young people from Elsas Hus will meet 12 French young people from La Ferté Saint-Aubin, aged from 15 to 20 years old, and get to know each other through circus. It will take place in France, at Domaine du Ciran, close to La Ferté Saint-Aubin. The aims of this Youth exchange is: - To inspire to a better European awareness among the participants through the knowledge they gain from meeting French and Swedish young people. - To use circus as a language to permit the participants to communicate beyond the spoken language barrier. - To inspire for and develop solidarity and tolerance between young people and all the different cultures of Europe through circus workshops made by the participants and organizing a show in the summer event of La Ferté Saint-Aubin : Les Estivales du Cosson. We believe that this youth exchange will contribute to keep peace through europe, increasing youngs knowledge about different cultures, countries and building friendship between our 2 cities. The circus show will bring Europe in the rural area of La Ferté Saint-Aubin and permits to give more informations about the Erasmus+ program. In a longer term, we can imagine to develop more projects and partnerships between us (as our 2 organisations are also involved in the EVS). We can also think that the youngs that take part in this project, will be more confident to do other european project, for leisure, studies or working experience.
