The aim of Project was: Introducing youth from different regions, who have similar interests - get to know different Europeancountries and their celebration traditions (in this case Christmas traditions), to contribute intercultural dialogue, youth mobilityand the sense of belonging to the European youth community.The project objectives were:• to realize a youth exchange project and to connect youth from Latvia and other European countries;• to contribute intercultural dialogue through getting to know different winter and Christmas traditions;• to organize project activities considering the principles of non - formal education;• to organize different team building activities, group work and ice breaking games;• to inform the project participants about Christmas activities and Christmas traditions;• to inform participants of the project about Christmas activities and traditions;• to organize different activities about the relation between winter and Christmas;• to connect all the participants of the project and to promote their improvement and schooling;• to do social work and organize Christmas activities in the Daugavpils 13. Secondary school and during the local Christmasevent for youth „Christmas laboratories”;• to provide all the necessary materials for participants of the project;• to organize a successful Christmas party in a multicultural society.Profile and number of participants: 27 youth and 6 leaders. Youth from Latvia, Romania, Portugal, Greece, Poland and Italy.Activities and used methods were: non-formal education methods - different types of activities, such as getting to know activitieslike ice-breaking activities, energizers, intercultural evenings, excursions, workshops, orientation games, presentations,multicultural Christmas celebration, farewell activities etc.Description of the results and impact: international experience in work with young people from different countries with differentcultures; Christmas celebration in multicultural conditions considering different Christmas traditions from the partner countries.
