The aim of the project is to improve practical skills in the area of animal production and veterinary treatment as well as learnig principles of good practice used in the EU within this area, especially while dealing with stocks of diary cows, sheep and riding horses . We are planning to strenghten professional competences of our students and implement good practice of breeding in the pedagogical innovation "hippoteraphy" and all veterinary department. Moreover, we want to improve the image of our school as a modern centre that cooperates with other EU countries.
This project contains the current 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students of veterinary department of Zespół Szkół Techniczno-Weterynaryjnych in Trzciana. There will be a group of 32 students chosen from students of this department according to specified in the project criteria. The exam which proves knowledge within R09 qualification will have to be passed by the students in order to enable them to take part in the project. The students will be divided into four groups and they will undergo training in four rounds. Each group will be looked after by the teacher of our school.
Before doing the internship, the students will be obliged to attend courses which will familiarise them with the region, culture and good manners at work placement.
The results of the project will be as follows:
-learning and improving skills in the area of animal production and veterinary treatment by the students and teachers of our school
-learning pro environmental behaviour and respect for animals and their well being.
-improving professional English in use
-making recommendations for our school's practical training facilities
- increasing students' competitiveness on labour market while getting professional certificates and Europass Mobility document
-strengthening innovative process and raise the standards of veterinary services in the area through project implementation and dissemination
-increasing our school's competitivness on education market
-promoting values such as tolerancy, respect for values professed by other nationality, international cooperation
