The venue: Subotica, SerbiaThe type of project: training courseThe theme: learning and service: voluntarism and competence development of unemployed young people through participation in EVS and 3.1 projects.The objectives: To train youth leaders and youth workers on supporting personal and professional development of unemployed young people through non - formal education with using YIA programme - Action 2 EVS and Action 3.1 International youth exchanges and Trainings and Youthpass process as development tools.- To raise awareness on the goals of new European Youth Strategy "Investing and Empowering";- To get to know project management of VS and training and international youth exchange according to the proposals of Action 3.1;- To develop understanding of voluntarism to be related to competence improvement as e.g. communication skills, language skills, self - confidence, organisational skills, information and knowledge on certain issues and countries, etc.- To develop different ways of active participation of unemployed young people as motivation and involvement;- To develop new project ideas based on special target group as unemployed young people based on previous experiences and the requirement of project management of YIA programme.Tthe duration in days: 6 daysThe countries involved: Serbia, Macedonia, Croatia, Portugal, Turkey, LithuaniaThe number of participants: 24The implemented activities and the methods applied: The training course will be based on methodology of non - formal education. It will be learner centre, based on the needs and experiences of participants. Trainers will prepare creative and active methods and tools in order to explore the themes of the training and achieve the goals.Some methods: individual work, pair work, small mixed group work, plenary work, simulationexercise, case study, personal challenge, collage, role play, etc.
