The project aims at increasing the exchange of information and best practices among the nursery institutions of the Carpathian region, creating methodological basis for joint activities of nursery institutions in the border areas based on the experience of the partner countries as well as conditions for pilot implementation of the methodologies developed in the kindergarten No5 - Velykyy Bychkiv community, kindergarten No39 - Uzhhorod (Ukraine) and kindergarten of Ruscova Community (Romania). Main activities of the project foresees the setting up the database of pre-school education institutions, holding of bilateral experience exchange workshops, holding of two study tours in Romania and Ukraine, developing of the web-portal «Children – Our Future», developing of 5 pre-school education methodologies in physical, aesthetic development and environmental education, pilot implementation of the methodologies in three kindergartens, publishing the “Methodological bilingual handbook on physical, aesthetic development and environmental education of children from 3 to 6”, carrying out repair works in the kindergarten of Velykyy Bychkiv, establishment of three classes in three beneficiary kindergartens of physical development, aesthetic development and environmental education, official opening of the kindergarten in Velykyy Bychkiv. Achievements: 1. cross-border network developed of pre-school education institutions of Zakarpatska oblast (Ukraine) and Maramures county (Romania). 2. a package of pre-school education methodologies developed and implemented in the pilot kindergartens No5 - Velykyy Bychkiv community, kindergarten No39 - Uzhhorod and kindergarten in the Community of Ruscova, namely: a. physical development (national dances of the Carpathian region); b. aesthetic development (clay and dough modelling, puppet show, music & theatre); and, c. environmental education (greenhouse).3. conditions created for high-quality pre-school education of children in the kindergartens No5 - Velykyy Bychkiv, No39 - Uzhhorod and kindergarten of Ruscova Community.
