The main aim to travel with a group of 20 young people from germany and France to visite important places of the first world war. During 10 days they will carry a scientific perspective on a war path to better understand peace. The shape will be a "seminar of controversy." The young people need to formulate a question about the first world war which is which is subject to discussion. Then they determine what they need to resolve: dating resource persons (elderly, researchers, site visits, data harvest ...). Piece by piece -as investigator journalists- they will collect the usefull materiel to forge their opinion on the matter. The purpose is that they build their own path regarding their questioning. While living concretely an intercultural experience during 10 days. The project begins upstream to the trip while the young people have to build their programm. 3 meetings of preparation by videoconference are to be planned 1 meeting of evaluation 10 days of trip The progress of their investigation and the geographical avancement will be directly broadcast on the web site of Science Tour. a daily post will permit to follow their progress Http: // www.lesciencetour.org/ A dissemination day is planned: it will take place in Strasbourg as European capital. Its contains will be determined by the the young people. The objective is to put in link Europe torn of the World War I and Europe of today with its elected representatives and its institutions.
