The project aims at developing and implementing an internationally-recognised, integrated, three-cycle system of Bachelors, Masters and PhD Degrees in Chemical Engineering with the inclusion of the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS), in the PC universities. The specific objectives are: To develop an internationally-recognised, integrated, three-cycle system of Bachelors, Masters and PhD Degrees in Chemical Engineering based on (a) specially designed curricula and methodologies, fostering the knowledge triangle of education-research-innovation under a permanent modernisation process, (b) the inclusion of the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS), and (c) trained personnel for implementation in Russian and Kazakh Universities, and to adopt the system as a model for a wider reform of engineering education and dissemination within Russia and Kazakhstan by December 2011.
