In this application we involve two volunteers from Denmark and give them the possibility to join project in Greece. The volunteers will support the everyday activities of the kindergarten and the information office and take part in activities in the themes like art and culture, activities with children, youth information, media and communication.. These activities for the volunteer incorporate a variety of learning styles, while developing skills in critical and creative thinking, problem- solving and cooperative learning. Our main objective is to develop a more positive attitude towards volunteering and non-formal education. The overall hope is that we will begin to re-engage the target group and create a more positive attitude towards society and ultimately education and we believe EVS volunteers can play a vital role in this process.The hosting projects will take place in Greece in the city of Xylokastro, the duration of the projects are 6 months starting from September.
