Through the youth exchange we will try to create a cultural understanding with focus on the importance of environment and sustainability. This will be achieved through activities with emphasis on cooperation around building the campsettings and being active in the running of the camp, workshops around the topic, focus on the participating countries own environmental policies, national evenings and study trips into the local community via sustainable transport. Teamwork will be created and upheld through sport and outdoor activities thorughout the camp. The overall objective will be to create a camp that is as self-sufficient and CO2 friendly as possible.The participants of the youth exchange will be between the ages 14-16, however the activities will be facilitated by 18-20-year-olds who have been the primary instigators in the idea and planning process.
