In the power and pressure systems industry simulation experts possess tacit knowledge of vital importance for staff development. This project will realise a study concerning forms of non-structured informal learning of CAE (analysis and simulation) technologies in the power and pressure systems industry. It will develop a comprehensive educational Base Statement for staff using such CAE tools. This will be done by a web-based interface. Learning tools will be designed for on-the-job training and during the project two exemplar modules will be developed, to demonstrate the effective work-based delivery of material, using virtual learning environment.
