“Cat in the bag” youth exchange will gather 21 participants from 4 countries in Kharkiv, Ukraine, in April 2014.The idea behind this youth exchange is to explore the unknown – participants will bring own “cats in the bag” - ideas, cases from their home countries and regions, examples, workshops and activities on different aspects related to environment and sustainable lifestyle. During the exchange, the cat will be let out – as participants will discuss, debate, explore and create together tips and ideas for sustainable lifestyle and environment. Letting the cat out will happen also through common creative work, making posters on environmental and sustainability theme, and using them in follow up actions and activities after the exchange. The outcomes of the project will include posters on environmental and sustainable lifestyle issues, increased knowledge and skills of the participants on the project themes, ideas for future activities and actions on the topic of environment and sustainable lifestyle, using posters and project materials. The exchange, its activities, materials and results will also contribute to promotion of Youth in Action programme, and improving quality of international youth activities in its framework.
