PROJECT
FINISHED
The aim of our project is to support our students in practical training and their communication in English.
We are secondary medical school and we are interested in students´having practice lessons in social and health services and nursing homes in England.
Our host organisation ADC College helped us to find work placements for 16 students at the age of 17- 18 for two weeks.
The participants will work in nursing and care homes and care for the people with special needs. They will assist with hygiene or feeding of non sufficient clients. They will provide personal assistance to people with disabilities and practice communication. They will gain work experience, get known new methods and ideas and improve their skills in nursing of elderly people and disabled people. They will have possibility to compare different levels of social care in both countries.
The mobility will contribute to development of their professional and personal growth, increase of their confidence and improvement of understanding intercultural differences. That help them have better position in the labour market.
After providing written feedback on their project experience every student will gain Europass Mobility.
