The CarEIn Project was based on TREIN – Training in Emotional Intelligence LdV Pilot Project, which main objective was the elaboration of a training tool for the promotion of the use of Emotional Intelligence skills in Continuous Training methodologies.The main reasons for transferring TREIN Project were that the training contents could be applied to other target groups, as Emotional Intelligenceis a transversal issue which can be applied to all sectors and beneficiaries with some adaptations, and that it could contribute to improving the quality of the services provided by health and care workers and, as result, the quality of live of people receiving health and care services. CarEIn improved the qualification of workers through the promotion of EI; improved the quality of their work and services provided; facilitated the adaptation of workers from health and care sector to changes in the sector;increased the motivation and satisfaction of workers of health and care sector; improved the quality of life of the beneficiaries of health and care sector.
