Digital Campania for Europe 2020":this is the title of the training project for the educational innovation and internationalization process of the Consortium – headed by Campania Regional Education Office – aiming to promote awareness and “enhanced” job skills for the teachers chosen as “Digital Champions”.Teaching different subjects in the schools of the Consortium, they will be the main elements of this annual project which will be developed on two different levels: LECTURES/TRAINING (both on line by eTwinning and European Schoolnet platforms and face-to-face ) and practical EXPERIENCE ON THE GROUND, by attending the training courses organized by the “International Study Programmes” focused on the real needs emerging from the internal debate of the Italian school .The activity planning includes workshops on using Technology effectively to facilitate and enhance students ‘ learning, job-shadowing by day visits to English primary or secondary schools specialised in the use of new information technology in the National curriculum, with the opportunity for observing and discussing with European teachers.By enhancing the Digital Champions’ know-how, the Campania Education Office project’s aim is to build up a staff of teachers able to support teacher's training inside and outside the schools, to spread the best practices and the new European digital skills for students and teachers.This activity planning will allow teachers:- to become familiar with the tools characterized by full-time connectivity;- to experience new teaching methods, thanks to the specific training received and the opportunities to monitor the use of these tools during the shared mobility;- to improve their language skills, the ability to team-working, the ability to interact with colleagues from other countries.- to set up small groups of teachers able to share the acquired skills with their colleagues;-to become lifelong learners and share with other people their experiences by joining the learning networks.The project sustainability deals with the inclusion of new teaching methods in School Plan (PTOF) , the making of a website / blog with all the produced resources ; an active cooperation at local and regional level with similar projects.
