PROJECT
FINISHED
The neighborhood where our school is situated is socially mixed. Some of our pupils come from families where French is not the first language and this can be problematic for them.
We have organised active teaching methods that take into account the mixed abilities of the groups so that each pupil may find his or her place and learn according to his or her own rythm.
We would now like to set up a foreign language course and we wish to give to all our pupils a better chance to integrate in their school but also in their neighborhood.
And we do believe teaching English in an elementary school would have a positive impact for their future studies.
We also think European diversity represents a promise of open-mindedness for each individual. We are all convinced that broadening our knowledge of English outside of Toulouse would open our school to European diversity. And we know this is indispensable.
Most of us are involved in this project : teaching English would enable us to communicate with our European partners.
Moreover this programme would allow us to improbe our skills.
Thanks to Erasmus Plus, each teacher will make progress not only in English but also in his broader teaching skills : the methodology offered during the training courses will permit us to give a more fun, dynamic and efficient teaching to our pupils.
Furthermore, the exchanges organised on Etwinning Platforms will enable pupils to create strong and firm links in situations of real communication.
Thus our team will be better trained and better motivated to help each of our pupils to reach a level that makes them more fluent in E,glish therefore more confident as European citizens.
