The necessity of the project implementationIn general, all partners have a similar situation – schools or institutions limit the work of student self-government by various events organizing (involving, entertaining and consolidating events). Self-government is underused as the potential of intellectual resource. Young people aren’t informed and involved in problem solving and decision making on issues related to life of educational institutions. Not all schools or educational institutions are interested in the development of student self-government, considering that it is extra work.Basically, the risk of early school leaving will increase in all EU countries. The project will offer the solutions to the problem. Student self-government, increasing the efficiency of their work, will improve work with young people from groups of social risk and reduce the risk of early school leaving.Project objectives: to improve and intensify the work of schools or other educational institutions’ student self-government with young people, thus increasing the capacity and work efficiency of student self-government and reducing the risk of early school leaving.Profile and number of participants: * Trained and involved in mutual mobility 98 young people from student self-governments of educational institutions and social risk groups * approximately 280 young people will take part in different activities * 48 teachers involved in the mobility as an accompanying staffActivitiesThe project activities are planned in two ways:1.Activities carried out by any partner at the same time throughout the project. Each partner organization trains student self-government purposefully.In the course of training there is provided to introduce the young people the content and meaning of the planned topics and the importance of working with young people groups of social risk, methodological support of different theme learning.Trained young people from student self- governments will use this knowledge to involve and train young people from group of social risk.2 . Mobility activities in a particular country. The members of self-government and teachers exchange knowledge learn some abilities and skills in a particular field and transfer their experience in their school or institution.The methods used "ice-breaking" activities, discussions, role-plays, tests, interviews with representatives of various professions, visiting social institutions, excursions to companies, local and state government and manufacturing companies, charity campaigns, organization of various events, filming movies, activities of group formation and consolidation, organization of events, workshops, training, etc.Description of the project results * 210 detailed handouts * The developed materials will be summarized on the overall blog, supplemented by description of the situation in different countries, statistical data, theoretical guidelines and conclusions; all interested have access to these materials * Partners and trained young people from student self-government will continue to work in their own schools, informing about the project results and involving other young people of institutions in activities; the total number - more than 3,000 young people from all partner organizations Effects * There is expected that around 50% of young people groups of social risk will be motivated to continue learning and to acquire the selected educational or another programs in all the partner organizations due to project activities * after the project results are in open access and available for public. The staff of other educational and social institutions, members of student self-governments and young people will be interested in the project experience learning and its practical application in their own institutions* young people from groups of social risk will be encouraged to participate in activities that are organized by various educational institutions and NGOs.Long-term benefits * Young people will be motivated to continue or resume studying to get formal education as well as improve the motivation for studying and building their careers, thereby potentially reducing the number of people at the risk of unemployment in the region.
