The project in margin will support local business, by building up a model of partnership for all interested parties within cross border region.The foundation of the Project is the key role of the small and medium size businesses in the economic development of the region and finding solutions to its social problems. First of all these businesses will open up new employment opportunities at comparatively lower costs.In order to show the advantages of the small and medium-size businesses in the peripheral and bordering regions of Bulgaria and Greece, which are having many difficulties related to the World Financial Crisis, where a lot of enterprises were closed and many qualified workers were thrown out of work, it is necessary to build up a Common Bulgarian-Greek Business Incubator as a demo center. Expected Results: The entrepreneurship in the Cross-border region will be stimulated through the development of the service Common Business incubator in the region. This new facility will give opportunity to entrepreneurs from Bulgaria and Greece to be supported in starting economic activity not only with legal and financial consultancies but also with the necessary premises and training of the managerial staff and the potential workers. The competitiveness and the common economic and trade activity of the companies from Haskovo District, Bulgaria, Prefecture of Evros, Greece and Prefecture of Kavala, Greece will be raised through the services, offered by the Info Points established on the project; the Common CBC business portal presenting topical information in the following modules: business partnership; stock exchange; labour market; legislation; business news; and regional information; and the Business Catalogue presenting the companies from the target regions. Another result of the project implementation will be the encouraged cooperation and networking among the companies in the Cross-border region. This will be achieved through implementing the CBC Development Conference, the promotional and presentation materials and events on the project and the activities on collecting common business database and Common CBC business portal.
