The purpose of the project is to develop measures that can decrease the effects of too much fertilization in the Oresund Region. By creating a close network between a number of municipalities in the region the project will make a common action plan for region. The action plan will be an instruments for different solutions to the problem. The project will furthermore make a handbook that describes various solutions and their effects on the nature if they are carried out. It is important to do this work so the region can find commom actions to meet the EU directive on water which must be implemented during the next years.The purpose of the network is furthermore to exchange experience on the best ways to implement measure to reduce fertilization. The network will include researchers, practicians, planners, organisations, authorities etc.
