The Project “Building and expanding professional and language competence of students in ZSP3 in Krosno through the program of practical placement abroad” was created in the context of implementation of the school’s long-term development plan. The plan includes the growth of mobility of students in ZSP3 by establishing cooperation with training institutions and companies operating in similar industry, skill sharing, serving a traineeship abroad and preparing the staff for conducting lessons corresponding with the needs of training on the international labour market.As a result of mobility, the following aims should be achieved:1) Enhancing the German language competence of students in ZSP 3 in Krosno, due to foreign mobility.2) Expanding professional competence of students, which is very useful on the international labour market.3) Noticing cultural and ethnic diversity in Europe.4) Enhancing openness and tolerance towards people from different backgrounds.5) Improving the skill of handling in new situations, becoming more self-confident.6) Using Information Technology in order to learn and communicate in German .7) Increasing the awareness of the necessity of continued professional development, owing to the benefits of the acquired experience.8) Supporting the development of able students.The participants of the project are 80 students who are now in 3rd class of technical secondary school and who are undergoing vocational training to learn the professions of aviation mechanic, technician/mechanic, mechatronics technician and motor vehicles technician. The project includes the realization of mobility, i.e. serving vocational traineeships in companies in Austria. The accomplishment of mobility has been established for 2 school years, 4 trips abroad each year.As a result of implementation of the project the following results should be achieved:-gaining knowledge and experience as part of serving traineeships in Austrian companies( Certificates ECVET and Europass Mobility),- bolstering self-esteem of students from rural areas- evaluation questionnaires, - raising the German language competence and intercultural awareness of students - evaluation questionnaires,- developing materials by students ( reports, photo relations, video materials, posters, leaflets and training instructions concerning the performance of professional works), - creating school’s information point giving details about Erasmus + MECHANIC IN EUROPE,- forming a website promoting the program.Thanks to gained knowledge and experience, we are planning to implement the second stage of school’s long-term development plan which is connected with teachers’ mobility ( training in educational institutions abroad) As far as the long term benefits are concerned, the gained experience and international cooperation will allow to continue the activities undertaken in the project of ZSP 3 to increase learners’ and teachers‘ mobility.
