Bringing Corporate Social Responsibility & Youth Work together with Erasmus+

The topic of the training course is the role of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) in youth work within the Erasmus+: Youth Programme. It aims to explore the cross-connection between youth work and CSR and to discover possible new ways of co-operation between non-profit and business sectors within the framework of E+ programme by means of the creation of long-lasting partnerships and projects. The participants will be provided with the knowledge and skills necessary to assure a high quality management of international NFL-based youth projects. This TC which targets youth project managers, youth workers, project leaders and staff of socially responsible enterprises along with relevant business and public sector stakeholders, will bring together 24 participants from 8 Programme Countries, in Harjumaa, Estonia for 5 working days. Partners include a range of organizations from local youth NGOs, to national and international networks in both profit and non-profit sectors. The activity will bring together participants from Estonia, Poland, Denmark, Germany, Turkey, Italy, Spain and Croatia. The methodology consists of a variety of non-formal learning exercises and techniques, such as group work, role-playing, simulations, reflection, creation activities, interviews, brainstorming, debriefing, etc., that are used to introduce, experiment with and analyse the different contents. Expert inputs, field visits to companies and case studies on CSR will complement and bring added value to the TC.
