This project consists to host four volunteers from october to 6 months, in four high school in Auvergne. The four high school chosen to run this new project are "Pierre Joël Bonté" in Riom, "Jean Monnet" in Yzeure, "Monnet Mermoz" in Aurillac, and "George Sand" in Yssingeaux.
The main role of the volunteer will be to enrich the educational team of the high school and its activities by bringing a European opening.
The volunteer will be able to undertake the following tasks:
- Youth awareness of health risks: prevent youth risk behaviour, give them the keys required for good health.
- Fight against discriminations and promote equality: educating young people against prejudices, highlight cultural diversity, promote the values of equality and secularism and in this way fight against the causes of discrimination.
- Awareness of mobility and international solidarity: promote international relations balanced through developmental education and youth exchanges.
- Youth awareness of environmental issues: promote citizen behaviour that leads to sustainable development.
- Awareness of mobility and international solidarity: promote international relations balanced through developmental education and youth exchanges.
We will encourage the volunteers to meet up in order to share their experiences, ideas and difficulties. These meetings will facilitate the follow up of the project and ensure its success.
