Bridge of solidarity in Argentina

The project “”Bridge of Solidarity in Argentina” take place in two isolated rural communities of Argentina, La Hiedra and El Nochero (District of Villa Minetti, Santa Fé) where the argentinian association ADeR, partner of GruCA Onlus, works in the Rural Sustainable Development. The aim of the project is to improve life conditions and the educational level of children of the rural communities trough non formal education methods. The project is a chance to promote, to experience and to strengthen active citizenship and intercultural exchange and dialogue with a isolated reality and could be a unique experience of intercultural learning, both for the volunteers, the children and the local communities.During their service the volunteers will join and help the local staff of ADeR to organize recreational activities, to support the education and the scholar tasks of the children of the two communities. Volunteers, according to their skills, could also organize sport activities, workshops, trips and any kind of non formal activity.The project is for two italian volunteers and the duration of the service is 6 months.The volunteers will be trained by the sending and by the hosting organization, before and during the service. This training will give them all the necessary instruments to approach situations and problems they may face during their work. The working days will be from Monday to Friday, from 10.00 to 16.00. The volunteers will live in Villa Minetti, the headquartes of ADeR, and will be carried to the communities all working days by a member of ADeR (30 minuts by car).
