The central objective of the project is to develop sustainable strategies to improve the relationship of owners of cultural heritage to their property and increasing opportunities for the conservation and sustainable development of cultural heritage by means of:- Improving cross-border cooperation of institutions in the field of cultural heritage protection;- Campaigns for wide awareness and the motivation to maintain a cultural heritage in the sense that the cultural heritage could be of advantage and of opportunity for regional development;- Promotion of and advice for the revitalization of stationary objects of cultural heritage, which can also be of interest to the market;- New, sustainable cross-border services and products, which are associated with a stationary cultural heritage;- Valorization, appropriateness of the use and maintenance of cultural heritage, in order to maintain its quality and cultural values.The project will have also numerous other desirable side effects like strengthening the cultural identity of the local population in the region, creation of new areas of tourism activities and creation of new jobs in areas related to the cultural heritage.
