The project aims to improve the breeding technology of sturgeon and different other species of freshwater raptors in cages for reaching larger production, greater food safety, better use of natural resources and minimizing the effects that can be harmful for environment. The project's results are two studies: a) Technical and scientifically substantiation of breeding opportunity of sturgeons and other freshwater predatory species in cages, and b) Prospective analysis upon technological management for breeding sturgeons and other freshwater predators in cages. The primary target groups are the researches who take part in the elaboration of the work program, together with their institutions, while the wider target groups consists of operators of the fish production and also of customers of the fish market.
