PROJECT
FINISHED
This project will bring together 38 young people, youth leaders and youth workers with fewer opportunities, from Sweden, France, Turkey, Estonia, Moldova, Ukraine, Palestine and Morocco. The project's main objective is to train association leaders and youth workers with fewer opportunities to conduct new projects related to the theme of employability of young people with fewer opportunities and inclusive growth. It will be explored how art, particularly dance and choreography, can work as a tool and support for bringing these target groups closer to the labor market. This training aims on one hand, to strengthen the skills of young people and their organisations working with and for young people with fewer opportunities, and on the other hand, to familiarize them to develop new projects within the Erasmus+ Program, with regard to its objectives and priorities. For 10 days the young leaders will share their ideas and experiences on artistic practices, especially dance, as a lever for learning, employability and inclusive growth of young people with fewer opportunities. The active involvement of the participants will be provided through interactive non-formal education methods, meetings with local associations and people, interactive workshops, creating projects that facilitate youth employability, a photo safari, visits and sharing of best practices. The training course will also enable the establishment of a sustainable basis for future cooperation between youth workers from Europe and the Mediterranean region, and the possibility to develop high-quality projects in the framework of the Erasmus + Program. The project will take place in Stockholm, August 11-21, 2016.
