"BrainTrainer 2012” is a project set up by Bilkent Universitesi Endustri Muhendisligi Operational Research Kulubu in association with ESTIEM (European Students of Industrial Engineering and Management), a network of youngEuropeans, which aims to empower and enthuse young people from different countries to take anactive and responsible role in society.The five-day intercultural event will gather 26 youth workers from 12 countries (Turkey, Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, France, Finland, Italy, Spain, Norway, Austria, Portugal, Sweden) and 18 Partner organisations in a friendly, casual atmosphere to exchange experiences and ideas about enhancement of creativity and entrepreneurship. The project aims at creating a platform for future cooperation in the youth field and encouraging the participation of young people involuntary youth work, while fostering mutual understanding and promoting tolerance among the participants in the Project.The event will take place in one of the most picturesque places in the Turkish landscape, Olympos. Through interactive, non-formal education methods, like debates, workshops, trainings, interactive games and discussions, BrainTrainer will raise awareness among the participants concerning European issues, youth creativity, entrepreneurship and the Youth in Action Programme.
