FINISHED
Project Bolzano – open day at Bernard Bolzano Elementary School in Tábor. The aim of the project is to incorporate new educational approaches into subject lessons at the secondary school. The project specifically focuses on the CLIL method in the subjects of geography, art, physics and history. Selected pedagogues with the desire to further their education and implement new educational methods into their teaching will participate in this project. As part of the project, participants will take part in job-shadowing at a partner school where they will be trained by CLIL certified pedagogues. They will actively compare the innovative approaches of the partner school with the Czech environment. Upon their return, project participants will integrate the newly acquired knowledge into their lessons, enriching it with foreign language sources and facilitating inter-subject linking. The project envisages the successful integration of CLIL into secondary school subjects. Participating pedagogues will collect their experiences in an academic publication which will come about within the scope of the project. It will be further expanded with theoretical findings on CLIL methodology through cooperation with other pedagogues in the region. The project aims to promote CLIL methodology, successful incorporating it into subject lessons and, in addition, increasing the expertise and qualification of the faculty.
