The theme of our project is human rights with an emphasis on gender-based, dating and domestic violence and our goal is to make youngsters from different countries to understand the importance of these topics, and their own part in these fields both in present and future society. We want to promote between our peers that healthy relationships consist of trust, honesty, respect, equality, and compromise. We also want to spread this information along with information about the Erasmus Plus program and different ways how to effect society.
The participating countries will be Estonia, Georgia Azerbaijan and Hungary, and the exchange will take place in Rustavi, a multicultural and industrial city, In Georgia. We want to include five participants plus one leader from each of the four participant countries and through several non-formal and self-defense sport activities learn about the importance of different type of violating human rights. We will discuss these topics thoroughly, attend different workshops and create a international information brochure "First Hand" with different texts written by us to collect our thoughts about the exchange an the gender-based, dating and domestic violence topics. We will therefor spread information about human rights and Erasmus Plus program in a non formal, interesting and fun way.
We plan to organize APV from 27th to 28th of September 2014 in Rustavi, Georgia. There will 2 participants from each group.
Youth exchange will take place from 1th to 10th of November 2014. The duration of the project will be 9 days, so we will have 8 full working days to achieve our goals. We are more than confident that we can really make a difference during this short period of time.
