Black Sea – Unity and Diversity in the Roman Antiquity (BSUDRA)

The main objective of the project is the creation of a network of research, cultural and administrative institutions for long term promotion of the exchange of scientific and cultural values in the Black Sea Basin, the integrate and joint promotion of the movable and immovable cultural heritage dated to the Roman epoch of the Black Sea Regions, the raising awareness and responsibility of the local communities and authorities regarding the necessity of the protection, conservation and valorization of the cultural heritage – inheritance of the Roman Antiquity. Achievements: A network of scientific institutions (research institutes), cultural institutions (museums), educational institutions (universities), institutions of the local administration and of the civil society got involved in the activity of research, protection and valorization of the archeological heritage of the Roman epoch.A fully functional center for the study of the Roman heritage in Black Sea Basin, on associative principle.A database with all Roman sites of the areas where the project partners are active. A joint multilingual exhibition catalogue and CD for the promotion of the Roman archeological heritage.
