The purpose of the project is to establish a network between universities, businesses, consultants and the public sector in order to promote and increase the knowledge and use of biogas in the region. The aim is to establish more biogas plants in the region. The Øresund Region could be one of the leading players in Europe in terms of knowledge and competence within biogas production and development. Creating a stronger network between the industry, research (universities) and the public sector can also be one way to increase the market and the market share of biogas as an energy source. One of the results of the project should be a permanent Biogas Forum for the Øresund Region, which can continue developing the network and increasing the knowledge about biogas.
