The aim of the project is to establish a pilot-scale biorefinery and facilitate a transnational co-operation for development and implementation of bio-refinery processes in the Oresund Region. A biorefinary facilitate the process of feedstock materials (by biological conversion) into to a range of valuable chemicals, fuels, power or other products. Achievements: A pilot-scale biorefinery have been inagurated in june 2012 on a facility owned and managed by Lunds unviersity in Anneberg (Sweden). The biorefinery is now tested and showcased for a range of stakeholders, including the private sector. Various analysis of the relevant regional partners for technology development, feedstock materials available in the region, and optimalization of use of enzyme, is underway.
