European Volunteers in Information and Communication Technologies(ICT) Project, that will be realized mainly in Istanbul, aims at getting young people from different cultures and identities together and making them to share their knowledge and experience in youth field. The project will start on 1st of July 2009 and will be finalized by 1th of August 2010. Our volunteer, Adam Borucki, will be hosted for 10 months (from 1st of August 2009 to 1st of June 2010) by Youth Association for Habitat, however, the volunteer will have the opportunity to meet young people from all over Turkey, since our youth projects are implemented both at local and national level through Local Agenda 21 youth councils and the National Youth Parliament. The volunteer will be responsible for coordinating relations with Habitat ICT academies and inform the local youngsters about EVS and volunteering, and also guide new EVS volunteers who will realize EVS Projects in different Habitat ICT Academies. In addition to that, he will participate to trainings on Millenium Development Goals, personal capacity development, environment as well as national meetings organized under the Local Agenda 21 Program of Turkey which will highly contribute to his own capacity development.
