Better skills for better chances of employment
Start date: May 5, 2011,
Through the project " Better skills for better chances of employment" we aim on the one hand at creating useful skills at the young people for their successful reaisation at the labour market. To achieve this goal we will train them how to write good CVs and motivation letters as we will present them the best job interview strategies. On the other hand, we will work for fostering youth creativity and entrepreneurship so they can develop and implement their own ideas. To achieve this we will train them in lobbying and championship as well as project management. We will use mainly non-formal working methods such as role games, case studies as well as practical project development group sessions. Since we have partners from Italy, Spain, Malta, Estonia, Poland and Greece we will also rely on the informal exchange of best practices in the youth employment sphere. The intercultural night when each of the participating groups will represent its culture, cuisine and traditions together with the daily discussions, energizers and role plays will contribute to the development of the intercultural dialogue, tolerance and European citizenship among the participants of the project. By publishing "My youth passport" as a follow-up activity we aim at popularising the non-formal education, the "Youth in Action" programme as well as giving an additional tool of recognition of the skills, competences and qualities of the young people when they are applying for a job.
