The application is directed at improving the English language skills of the teachers employed in the bilingual education programme of the school, as well as the teachers implementing ELOS and international cooperation projects. The object is to increase their skills and use of English to such an extent as to increase the effectiveness and quality of their own lessons. In this way, the school can offer an even better quality of English to the students, resulting in an improvement in their linguistics skills as well. The teachers will be taking a course in England and will be staying with host families thereby immersing themselves in the English language. The 7 teachers involved teach their subject in English in the bilingual program: English, music, physical education, history, geography, science, art and maths. The course planned places an emphasis, not only on language and speaking skills, but also on the application of CLIL elements in teaching the various subjects. The teachers will also take in cultural events, ensuring a deepening understanding of the cultural aspects of the country.
