The project entitled „A+ teacher” concerns mobility of the teaching staff from Zespół Szkól nr 7 in Koszalin. The aim of the project is to both upgrade and broaden knowledge of the methodology of teaching general education subjects by getting familiar with modern ICT methods and to broaden knowledge in the field of approaching students with special educational needs. In addition, the teachers will have an opportunity to exchange experience and to compare the education systems in two EU countries – England and Italy. The project team assumes the organization of two training trips for two groups of eight teachers. In England there will be held a language and methodological course whose aim will be improvement of language skills essential to use English literature, didactic materials such as e-books and to take part in international conferences on innovative solutions in didactics. In Italy there will be a training concerning modern teaching methods in humanities and sciences. The teachers will participate in workshops on working with students with special educational needs which is strictly connected with our students’ needs. The teachers will share the acquired knowledge and skills with all the members of the teaching staff by organizing training staff meetings and open classes to other teachers which, in turn, is certain to contribute to improve the quality of the school.
