The seminar "BEING A VOLUNTEER" is going to be implemented in Argos Orestiko for 7 days. 8 countries and 34 participants are going to take part working on the topic of volunteering. The aim of the project is promoting voluntary service not only at local level but also at European level while participants are going to become the future multipliers of the philosophy of volunteering. The seminar will be implemented by lectures which will give a theoretical background to participants. Afterwards, we are going to put into practice this knowledge by planning and organizing a campaign to foster voluntary service in the town, by creating leaflets and sharing experiences with local people. The methodology will be based on non formal learning including games, workshops, debates promoting intercultural dialogue, respect, tolerance, team work, where each participant will have an active role, with responsabilities and tasks in the preparation, execution, evaluation and dissemination of the project.
