In the center of the project „Begegnung in Bewegung“ there are 3 one-week long inclusive and international meetings for young people in the age between around 14 and 18 with and without disabilities/high need for support from four countries: Germany, Croatia, Poland and Turkey.BackgroundThere are three one-week inclusive meetings for young people in the center of the project „Bewegnung in Bewegung“. All the projects combine a transcultural program of the meeting with workshops for sport, experiential, dance/movement pedagogy. There are a few topics with varying weight among which are the following central ones: self-assertion, empowerment and gender mainstreaming as well as a fair and careful dealing with each other. The project with its active addressing to young people with disabilities/disadvantages and with its support of their strengths refers to Erasmus+ strategy of inclusion and diversity in the youth sector (April 2015). It also follows the EU youth strategy in its plan to support social integration. The key competence “International Decision Making” is also supported here, as well as the interest to foreign languages and further mobile learning and vocational experiences. Besides, a positive understanding of the civil diversity and European solidarity as well as reduction of prejudice is actively promoted through the meeting. Thanks to the focus on the topics of self-assertion and fairness the young people get sensitized to these topics and thus can be more informed and can stand for their rights more assertive in the future. Aims There are following aims to list briefly:• Empowerment and reinforcement of self-assertion and resilience of young people through the workshops based on sport and movement (wendo, team sport, body work)• Support of diversity understanding and seeing variety as a chance: training for careful and fair dealing as well as diversity- and gender-sensitive approaches through the corresponding workshops• To support the international competence of the disadvantaged and disabled young people through integration of this target group into international youth exchange• To create transcultural meeting and to encourage for team work, participation and democratic decision making processProject realization:04th-10th of April 2016: Youth meeting Fair Life: German-polish meeting for a fair dealing in sport and in the society; DE; PL27th-29th of May 2016: Partner contact seminar: Empowerment and self-assertion for girls in the international inclusive projects; DE; PL; HR8th-14th of August 2016: Youth meeting GIRLS!
