PROJECT
FINISHED
After having been successfully involved from 2011 in European Mobility Programs, the Vocational Training Center “IES JAVIER GARCÍA TÉLLEZ” in Cáceres (Spain) wants again to apply for new VET Erasmus+ Programs for the 2014-2020 period.
With this totally renewed project our main goal is to reduce as much as possible the differences and gap between Portugal and Spain and achieve new goals in management and organization for our educational institution as a result of the exchange of experience among partners. To improve the Vocational Education and Training, communicative skills of participants and personal values like self-sufficiency and “learning to learn” ability are also key goals set by our institution within this program framework.
Our project establishes two different groups of mobilities (ten students in each one) to do internships in Portugal during 10 weeks (22 ECTS credits, approximately 400h). The beneficiaries of the program are students in their second course of their VET degree cycles in the areas of Electricity, Electronics & Telecommunications, Electromechanics, Paint and Bodywork and Sanitary Emergencies.
8 different institutions (educational institution, intermediary partners and business) are involved in this project: our educational center, 4 different business in Portugal, 2 non-commercial intermediary partners in Spain and one in Portugal.
The project will be developed in 3 different stages:
1. Preliminary stage, in which candidates will be informed, selected and trained in cultural aspects and communicative skills in the Portuguese language.
2. Mobility stage, in which the selected students will perform their internships in the destination country.
3. Monitoring stage, in which the project and results will be continuously assessed in order to elaborate a final report of the taken out activities.
