IIS "Giolitti-Bellisario-Paire" is a higher education institution which, as a whole is a small network of schools, as it includes 2 Vocational Institutes for Catering, Hospitality and Tourism, 1 Technical Institute for Agribusiness and Agro-industry, 1 Vocational Institute for Business Services. Its strengths are: its historic ties with the territory; its ability to respond in a qualified way to the requirements of the labour market; its vocation to welcome foreign students, children in situations of disadvantage or with previous schooling difficulties and motivate them to acquire skills and interest in the job. Among its weaknesses emerge: the lack of an international profile; the low number of contacts with other European countries; the need for an adequate number of teachers with foreign language skills who can lead the institute into Europe; the limited knowledge of other cultures and the resulting lack of willingness to accept the other; a teaching methodology in which, except for the practical activities, still prevail the frontal lectures and an evaluation limited to the knowledge; the need to adapt the school to PNSDHence the need to train all staff, through specific courses, from the point of view of the- LANGUAGE for a better interaction with foreign students and with EU countries; to acquire a greater intercultural awareness; to enable international cooperation, increase the quality of education and the acquisition of key skills through the implementation of international projects; to offer non-linguistic content in foreign languages- METHODOLOGY to acquire and spread the awareness of the ICT’s role among the "digital natives"; to modernize education with the inclusion of "blended learning"; to implement classes 2.0 to create more challenging learning environments and paths - INCLUSION to acquire a better ability to identify and understand the diversity; to develop inclusive strategies and promote equal opportunities in the international mobility; to spread a 360-degrees concept of inclusion open to people, ideas, cultures- MANAGEMENT to enhance the professional skills in relation to the management of human resources; to strengthen international cooperation between the world of education and the world of work.Courses participants, by comparisons with other realities and other colleagues, will increase their ability to work in groups, reflect on their own teaching methods, share best practices, handle new situations, enhence their self-esteem and creativityMobility structure - 8 two-week language courses and 2 two-week courses on CLIL for 9 teachers of non-linguistic subjects and 1 Administrative Assistant - 4 one-week courses on ICT for 4 teachers of specialistic subjects- 4 one-week courses for special needs teachers- 1 week study visit and 1 week course for the management staff membersThe mobility will have destinations, locations and different providers in order to facilitate a "full immersion" language learning and to create more opportunities for contacts with European schools. Furthermore courses and meetings will be held in the school and in other schools and local organizations to disseminate the most relevant contents and to involve more organizations in other Erasmus+ progects (KA1Vet, KA2)The evaluation and dissemination plan provided will evaluate the activities with a list of indicators (impact, results and user satisfaction) and disseminate the results at different levels (the "Consiglio di Classe", the Subject Department and the External Contexts). The project will be supported by the Head Office even after the end of the mobility, because the programme, linked to the highlighted areas, will be included in a specific training plan prepared in accordance with the regulations UNI EN ISO 9001:2008.
