In Be the necessary change young multiplicators from Germany, Ukraine, Romania and Moldova will be trained in project management and empowered to create and run their own small-scaled project. The two aspects sustainable development and social entrepreneurship will unite the participants' projects. In a first impulse seminar in Moldova 20 multiplicators from the four partners organisation who are already active in their NGO work will get a training in the necessary skills to run a small-scale project themselves. Besides, maybe even more important, they together in an international group will create a positive future vision of their regions. 21st century's challenges like the future of energy supply, mobility, agriculture, housing, community life will be discussed under the light of a sustainable development. Thus, these young people aged 18-25 will create and work out confident little project ideas. Project ideas could be for example related to urban gardening, cyclism, neighbourhood activity, educational work, tree planting etc. The participants from the first impulse seminar will be guided and supported by mentors who are more experienced associates of the four partner organisations. These mentors will parallely get a training of "How to be a good mentor" in Germany. Mentors and participants will be matched and work on the project ideas during summer. The network will be kept alive through social media in the internet. In autumn all participants will get together again and reflect the learnings, the impact and future plans. These plans include perspectives on a personal level, on a professional level and on an international cooperation level. We seek to train at least 20 project developers and to inspire a larger community with our shared vision of a good future in those regions. An optimistic and joyfull approach to the future which is connected to their home regions is necessary and unfourtunately not very common among young people from Romania, Moldova or Ukraine. "Be the necessary change" seeks to inspire, motivate and qualify those young people to be an active part of their societies and a source of change where they desire a change.
